three impossible seasonings

I've gotten pretty good at packing for overseas adventures, and it has helped me a lot in my permanent move. There are 3 kitchen seasonings I brought with me from the USA that are hard or impossible to find in France.

#1 Nature's Seasons

My mom put Nature's Seasons on everything when I was a kid so I guess I developed an addiction. It is not really anything special- some salt, pepper, garlic, onion, etc, but it is the perfect combination. I love it on grilled steaks and my mothers favorite recipe, noodles and tomatoes (macaroni noodles with a can of diced tomatoes- very gourmet).

#2 Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning

Simply put, since I have lived in New Orleans I haven't found one thing that cajun seasoning does not improve, from eggs to spaghetti sauce.I think you can buy this here, but this is my favorite brand.

#3 Pumpkin Pie Spice

Again, a combination I could mix myself if I felt like it, but this little bottle is just so perfectly mixed why bother? Though I am a huge fan of eating, I have never been a dessert lover. I choose tart or spicy desserts over sweet any day. Unfortunately the French have yet to discover the wonders of pumpkin pie, and by extension pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin lattes....
